Outdated lighting and exterior fixtures reduced safety and visibility, water intrusion risks threatened building integrity, and inefficient HVAC controls and VAV boxes made it difficult to maintain consistent indoor conditions. The city needed a comprehensive, cost-effective solution to modernize facilities, improve safety and accessibility, and protect long-term asset value, while maximizing available grant funding.

Innovative Solutions
Energy Systems Group partnered with the city to deliver targeted improvements that enhanced occupant comfort, reduced energy use, and protected the facility’s long-term value while leveraging grant funding to offset costs.
Upgraded and created ADA-compliant restrooms to enhance accessibility and ensure a welcoming, inclusive environment for all visitors.
Modernized 28 parking lot fixtures and 16 floodlights with energy-efficient lighting to improve safety and visibility while reducing energy costs, supported by a state grant secured with ESG’s assistance.
Installed new roofing systems and implemented water intrusion prevention measures to protect buildings from future damage, extend asset life, and reduce ongoing maintenance costs.
Replaced 215 VAV boxes and transitioned to a digital Energy Management System to optimize building performance, improve occupant comfort, and lower long-term operational expenses.
