EVSC and ESG Collaborate on 9th Phase of Ongoing Partnership

Energy Systems Group (ESG) is excited to announce its latest project with the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC) in Evansville, IN, also home to our headquarters. This is an exciting project for us as we’ve had a long-standing partnership over the years allowing us the opportunity to work together to improve the community for everyone.

The project will bring significant energy and operational cost reductions to the district while enhancing the learning environment for over 22,000 students and 3,400 employees as it is one of the largest in the district. EVSC operates 40 schools, including five specialized schools, six specialized programs, and a rapidly expanding early learning program in urban, suburban, and rural areas.

The scope of work for this phase includes upgrading LED lighting in 20 buildings, replacing 11 air-cooled chillers in 10 buildings, implementing water conservation measures in 34 buildings, and upgrading building management system front-end controls in 7 buildings. Upon completion, we anticipate generating utility rebates from CenterPoint Energy of over $700,000.

This project is a testament to our strong partnership with EVSC and our commitment to enhancing the learning environment for students in the community. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with EVSC and other local businesses to make a positive impact in the community. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project!
